Commissioned Items
Commissioned items are my specialty. I love working in collaboration with clients who have an idea of what they want. This could be a picture from Pinterest or Google, a particular style, or even an existing piece of furniture that would serve to compliment the envisioned piece. I work with them to create a customized piece or pieces unique to them, getting their input at every step of the construction.
1. INITIAL MEETING
The typical process includes an initial meeting. I prefer that the client brings pictures of what they are looking for. They can also bring pictures of the room where the piece will reside, fabric samples of furniture that will be in the same room, flooring samples, samples of inspiration, etc. Additionally, they can provide preferred dimensions of the item.
2. DESIGN/REVIEW
After the initial meeting, I will provide a scaled drawing of the item.
The client will then review it and make any adjustments. Once the initial drawing is approved, a formal quote will be developed with pricing. The formal quote will include dimensioned drawings with several views of the item.

If the client wants to move forward at this time, the quote is signed and a down payment is made. At this time a schedule will be made and work will begin!
3. BUILD
As the build progresses, there maybe additional communication or meetings to discuss and finalize details related to the project, such as edge profiles, stain choices, finishes, hardware to use, etc.
4. DELIVERY
Once completed, the delivery will be scheduled with the client and the item will be delivered. 100% satisfaction is my goal and I will work with you to make sure that is the case.
